Aid Stations
The North West Trail Running Series is a self-supported event, meaning there will be NO on-course assistance provided.
It is crucial to plan for your estimated course completion time and bring sufficient nutrition and hydration to sustain yourself throughout the event.
There will be FREE electrolytes provided at the Start/Finish line of the event thanks to our Electrolyte Partner, Trail Brew. Please refill your bottles as you please, or bring a cup to enjoy.
Mandatory Gear
As the NWTRS is a self-supported event and given the nature of trail running and the fact we are running in the middle of a Tasmanian winter, we require all participants to carry the following mandatory gear as a minimum. Ultimately, you are responsible for your own safety, so please consider the course and weather conditions, and prepare yourself accordingly by wearing appropriate footwear and clothing.
